John has served as pastor at Strasburg Mennonite Church since 1995. He has a deep desire to help people grow in their relationship with the Lord and maintain healthy relationships with each other. John enjoys doing this through preaching, teaching, prayer counseling, and every day life conversations. He is a bivocational pastor who is involved in agriculture production and animal husbandry, which helps him experience many valuable life lessons everyday. It is a joy for John to work with his wife and family in their farming business. John appreciates antiques and a good history story that goes with it. He and his wife Deb have lived in the Strasburg area all their lives and have been married for over 30 years. They have been blessed with three adult children and three grandchildren.
J. Harvey Groff has been an associate pastor at Strasburg Mennonite Church since 2015. His passion is that: 1. All people would come to know the Living God personally through Jesus Christ our Lord. 2. All people would commit their lives to doing the Lord's will and thus experience the revolution that results in wholeness in body, soul, spirit and relationships. He is a bivocational pastor/farmer who raises baby pigs and crops on a family farm. He and his wife, Yvonne, have been married over 40 years and have shared various cycles and seasons of life together. They enjoy short road trips as well as observing nature and wildlife and eating good food. They have 2 adult married children and 3 grandchildren.
Cliff has been a Pastor at Strasburg Mennonite Church since 2015. His experience has taught him that God blesses those with a willing heart and He is faithful to supply all our needs. Cliff tries to live this daily between his church responsibilities and his job as the Vice President of Application Support at RKL eSolutions LLC. He loves spending time with his family and traveling. Cliff practices getting used to disappointment by being a true Philly sports fan. He and his wife Roselle and their 3 children reside in Lampeter, PA.
Kevin is Pastor of Youth at Strasburg Mennonite Church. He values family, faith, health, and fitness and desires for all to know the unexplainable peace that is received from following Jesus. He loves making new friends with similar values and works in Information Technology for Trustmark Benefits of Lake Forest, Illinois. Kevin and his wife Connie have three adult children who graduated from Lancaster Christian School (a.k.a. LCCS). They are both lifelong residents of Lancaster County and reside in Strasburg, PA.
Darell has been a Deacon at Strasburg Mennonite Church since 2016. He is passionate about serving others in the name of Christ. He enjoys fishing, doing projects around the house, and spending time with his family. Darell is Distribution Manager at Turkey Hill. He and his wife Carol reside in Willow Street, PA.
